Position: Project Manager (Contract)
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 (Negotiable)

The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate Company that manufactures UV lamps for the printing industry and other applications. Their high-quality photonic solutions provide improved process reliability, and more innovation in industrial manufacturing, scientific, and medical applications.
Due to sustained continued expansion they now require a Project Manager (12-18 month Contract) to lead the strategic transfer of fiber and laser product manufacturing to Göttingen (Germany) and Singapore
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate the end-to-end transfer of production lines, equipment, and processes to Göttingen and Singapore.
  • Ensure alignment with operational, quality, and regulatory requirements at receiving sites.
  • Define and maintain detailed project timelines, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs across multiple geographies.
    The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:
  • Proven track record in managing complex production transfers or manufacturing site relocations, ideally in the photonics, medical device, or high-tech industry.
  • Strong background in operations, industrial engineering, or manufacturing project management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including experience with international teams.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001/13485), regulatory requirements, and documentation.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Germany and Singapore.
  • Recognised Project management Qualification (Prince2, Primavera etc…)
