    Role Overview:
    The Logistics Manager will coordinate the timely and efficient transport of goods to customers and from suppliers, ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly, meeting customer expectations while optimising costs and lead times.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement best practice logistics principles, policies, and processes to enhance operational and financial performance.
  • Plan, book, and monitor transportation for outbound deliveries and inbound shipments.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods domestically and internationally.
  • Communicate daily with transport companies, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to confirm schedules, resolve delays, and adjust logistics plans.
  • Negotiate transport rates and maintain positive relationships with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Track shipments and proactively manage exceptions to avoid disruptions.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, service, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer experience teams to ensure readiness for dispatch and receipt.
  • Maintain accurate transport records and generate logistics performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
  • Continuously seek ways to reduce transport costs and improve delivery performance.

    Requirements:
  • Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), extensive experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or supply chain roles, strong knowledge of shipping, freight, and logistics operations, international shipping experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in shipping medical devices, knowledge of logistics and transport management systems.
