We are seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional support to our Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. In this role, you will provide high-quality, proactive and confidential executive support which includes efficient diary, meeting, and travel management, as well as ensuring effective communications, prioritisation and execution of business-critical tasks within our Legal function and across the Centrica Group.

Location: Ideally you will be based within easy commutable distance to either our Windsor or London sites and can be flexible to travel to these office locations as required.

What will you do?

Travel Management: Coordinate and book complex travel arrangements and plan detailed itineraries, making independent decisions regarding travel logistics to ensure efficient and effective business travel.
Meeting Preparation: Ensure the Group GC and other members of our Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Ethics & Compliance, and Secretariat (LRECS) leadership team are thoroughly prepared for upcoming meetings with all necessary documentation well in advance.
Communication Management: Manage incoming correspondence, screen and redirect messages, and proactively alert the Director of high-importance issues as they arise.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external queries, providing information when appropriate and escalating complex matters to the relevant team members.
Meeting Coordination: Create agendas, distribute pre-reads, take minutes/record actions at meetings, and follow up on action items to ensure completion.
Visitor Management: Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority both internally and externally with professionalism and courtesy.
Financial Administration: Manage expenses and process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Project Support: Provide ad hoc project management and support with organizing key events such as stakeholder visits.
Team Support: Assist with diary management for the wider team, coordinating internal and external meetings efficiently.Here's who we are looking for:

Ability to exercise sound judgment when prioritising competing demands and managing the Director's time.
Make independent decisions regarding travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and visitor management.
Determine appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Identify when to escalate issues requiring the Director's immediate attention.
Resolve administrative challenges with minimal supervision.
Anticipate needs and proactively address potential issues before they arise.
A self-motivated individual with the ability to work alone under minimum supervision and direction
