Bespak is looking for a New Product QA for this permanent position on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £25k to £27.5k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution by the company, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times.

As a New Product QA, you'll play a vital role in the introduction of new products to Bespak. Your duties will include performing method development activities on Phase I, II and III/commercial products. You will also be responsible for analytical method validation of methods, as well as transfer of methods from customers. You will support stability programs for these products. Your experience will allow you to document your findings, and investigate any issues to guarantee product quality, purity, and safety. Additionally, you'll contribute to improving our processes and may even train new team members, all while adhering to strict regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical CDMO with over 350 employees, currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (asthma inhalers) with greener propellants, meeting the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.

As a New Product QA your duties will include:

  • Conducting lab testing and analysis of samples.

  • Analysing data and contributing to quality.

  • Perform method development and validation activities.

  • Perform method transfer activities.

  • Investigating issues and identifying root causes.

  • Driving improvements and managing change.

  • Providing analytical support for audits.

    New Product QA essential key skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of QC and GMP.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Project and investigation skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Aptitude for training and self-management.

    New Product QA beneficial key skills and experience:

  • Technical knowledge of analytical method development and validation

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical stability processes

  • Experience in method transfers.

  • Proficiency in chromatographic data systems, LIMS,

  • Familiarity with global pharmaceutical regulations.

    Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.

    This could suit someone who has experience as a method development analyst, Quality Specialist, Quality Assurance Technician or Quality Control Inspector.
