Field Clinical Training Specialist - Point of Care/Blood Glucose and Blood Gas devices

£36.5k + £1.6k bonus + company car + laptop + phone + 10% contrib. pension + PHI

Territory: North of England/North Wales with support across UK

Reports directly to: Implementation Manager or Technical Support Manager

Job Summary and/or Key Objectives:

  • Performs and delivers on-site customer training programs for all StatStrip, StatSensor, Allegro and Blood Gas product implementations under the direction of the Pre & Post Implementation Manager.

  • Responsible for maintaining & documenting customer training records at each customer site including the names of personnel trained, date training was performed & training agenda.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is revision controlled & adheres to the Quality Management System.

  • Producing reports both to Customers & Management as required.

  • Responsible for assisting customers with ongoing Training, Audits & onsite after sales support when the customer goes “Live” with StatStrip, StatSensor & Blood Gas products.

  • Works closely with local Area Sales Managers, IT Specialists & Product Manager adding value throughout the sales process on all business opportunities in the form of conducting pre-sales onsite customer training and evaluation assistance.

    Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Document user training for implementation projects

  • Ensure all documentation is revision controlled & adheres to the Quality Management System

  • Producing reports both to Customers and Nova Management as required

  • Works closely with local Technical and IT Support staff on assigned customer support projects

  • Supports customer & management in customer site audits

  • Works closely with local Area Sales Managers, IT Specialists & Product Manager adding value throughout the sales process on all business opportunities in the form of conducting on site surveys, pre-sales onsite customer training & evaluation assistance

    Qualifications/Experience:

  • Formal training in Point-of-Care/ Biomedical Science Field

  • 2-4 years of diagnostics industry or hospital related experience

  • Demonstrable Microsoft Office/IT skills necessary

  • Training experience is beneficial

  • Requires excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to working with different customer personalities

  • Emotional resilience, a calm temperament & the ability to work well under pressure

  • Efficient time & resource management

  • Problem solving & diagnostic skills

  • Requires ability to travel UK-wide for extended periods of time based on project requirements

  • Hold full & valid UK Driving License

    Territory:

  • Flexibility to travel is vital. There will be extensive travel in this role and nights away from home will be frequent.

    Package:

  • £36.5k + £1.6k bonus + company car + laptop + phone + 10% pension + PHI
