We are seeking an ambitious software Business Development Specialist / Software Sales Executive to work for a fast-growing company in central London. This internationally recognised company houses some of the worlds brightest minds, fostering ideas and developing brand new technology in consumer electronics, IoT devices, wireless technology, AI / Machine Learning, VR and Video, Audio and DSP and Robotics space. These technologies are making a huge impact in industry sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, manufacturing, medtech, cleantech and service IoT.  
  
This role will see you focused on building and fostering new relationships with potential clients, introducing them to the world-class consulting and software development services on offer. You will have an open book to tap into new clients from an array of different industries. A background and network within the IoT, consumer electronics, wireless communication, aerospace / defence market would be beneficial.
  
This role offers huge potential and a unique opportunity to deliver an already proven and respected international brand to the UK market.
  
Responsibilities of Software Business Development Specialist / Software Sales Executive

Build a network and find new leads in the UK market
Work with roadmap and strategic planning, lead the sales process end-to-end
Understand the market, develop a strong network, build a pipeline, and deliver sales.
Engage with key stakeholders and develop strategic relationships, and partnerships.
Understand the competitive landscape to generate strategic input
Work with the marketing team to increase brand awareness in the UK
Drive the delivery towards customer by collaborating internally.
Remain current on technology areas of interest to our customers and business areas. Requirements of Software Business Development Specialist / Software Sales Executive

Degree educated in technical discipline – ideally Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, etc.
Proven business development experience selling software design solutions
Proven experience in successful account management
Experience with negotiations and setting budgets
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Experience delivering excellent customer service
An ability to innovate new approaches to business development opportunities
Experience from IoT, consumer electronics, wireless communication, aerospace / defence software market is highly beneficial
Previous experience working in software development beneficial
Demonstrated stakeholder and project management skills
Willingness to travel, primarily across the UK but also abroad Salary: £50k - £65k basic + excellent commission / bonus package.
