Brand & Marketing Manager Surgical Devices

London, Hybrid

Full-time | Salary DOE + shares


Were seeking an experienced and highly creative marketing professional to lead the brand development and U.S. launch of an innovative new surgical device. This role offers full ownership of branding, product identity, marketing strategy, and educational content creation - ideal for a strategic executor with strong creative instincts and experience in Med tech/ device space.


Key Responsibilities


Brand Development & Product Launch:

  • Lead the creation of a complete brand identity for a new surgical device entering the U.S. market - including product naming, logo design, and packaging - in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.


Marketing & Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing and branding strategy for both the new device and the companys overall identity, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across digital and physical channels.


Creative Content & Education:

  • Direct the production of high-quality educational materials such as surgical teaching videos, digital learning tools, and training assets to support surgeon education and sales enablement.


Visual Storytelling & Media Production:

  • Oversee creative collaborations with CAD designers, videographers, and agencies to deliver engaging promotional videos, animations, and visuals that communicate clinical and technical value effectively.


Agency & Campaign Management:

  • Provide creative and commercial direction to external partners on video, photography, and educational campaigns, ensuring clinical accuracy, brand alignment, and strategic impact.


Event & Conference Leadership:

  • Plan and manage the companys presence at key surgical and medical conferences, including booth design, demos, branding materials, and surgeon engagement initiatives.
  • (Approx. 1020% travel, primarily for major conferences.)


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with R&D, regulatory, and sales teams to ensure launch readiness, consistent brand positioning, and successful market adoption.


About You

  • Proven experience in brand management, creative marketing, or product launch within healthcare, MedTech, or medical devices.
  • Strong creative and strategic balance - comfortable driving both brand vision and practical execution.
  • Experience managing external agencies, overseeing video and digital content creation, and shaping product identity.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across clinical, commercial, and creative teams.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and taking full ownership of brand outcomes.
  • This is a role at a start-up, so they are very much looking for someone happy to get stuck in and work across a mixture.
