Digital Transformation Consultant

Hybrid role - Manchester

My client is looking for a Digital transformation Consultant with NHS consultancy experience

This role will play a pivotal part in managing and delivering digital transformation projects, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects by meeting our clients' objectives while working as part of an integrated team. Leading on day-to-day project activities, ensuring timely delivery, within budget and to the high quality expected by our clients. This role will also be instrumental in transferring knowledge to our clients to ensure they can sustain and build upon the technological advantages implemented during the project.

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of digital transformation projects, ensuring effective planning, execution and delivery of agreed outputs.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.

  • Proactively identify project risks, challenges and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track.

    Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.

  • Ensure that client expectations are clearly understood and managed, with regular updates on project progress, risks and changes.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings with internal teams and client stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues and ensure alignment.

  • Ensure that knowledge transfer is built into the project delivery plan, enabling clients to take ownership of their digital transformation once the project is complete.

  • Lead client workshops, training sessions and documentation efforts to ensure clients understand and are capable of sustaining the changes implemented.

  • Assist clients in establishing governance structures and processes that support the ongoing management of digital transformation efforts.

    Skills & Characteristics

    Project Management Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience managing and delivering digital transformation projects, preferably within the healthcare sector.

  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid, and the ability to adapt these methodologies to the needs of each project.

    Healthcare Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of the NHS/Healthcare industry, including healthcare IT systems (e.g., Electronic Patient Record (EPR), telemedicine, healthcare analytics) and relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

  • Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities associated with digital transformation in healthcare organisations.
