XCL Group are recruiting for a specialist manufacturer working to some of the highest hygiene and quality standards in the industry. They have a busy manufacturing site based in Huddersfield and due to the growth of their orderbook they are looking to expand the production lines. If you’ve worked in food, pharmaceuticals, or another clean production environment, you’ll feel right at home here.

As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping their processes running smoothly. You’ll be operating industrial machinery, following strict hygiene and safety protocols, and working as part of a reliable and efficient production team.

Job Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor industrial machinery in line with safety and hygiene standards.

· Carry out production tasks to agreed quality specifications.

· Follow strict hygiene and compliance procedures, maintaining a clean working environment at all times.

· Perform routine quality checks and complete accurate production records.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily output targets.

· Proactively support continuous improvement and safe working practices.

Job Requirements

· Previous experience in a high-hygiene manufacturing or production environment (e.g. food, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, medical devices, or similar).

· Strong practical skills with industrial machinery and production equipment.

· A reliable, self-motivated individual who doesn’t need micromanagement.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday

6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm this rotates on a weekly basis.
