Head of Data & Analytics

£65,000 - £72,000
Remote (UK) with occasional travel to London & national sites

I'm currently working with one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, who are looking to hire a Head of Data & Analytics to lead their growing data function and drive the next phase of their data transformation journey.

This role sits within the Digital, Data & Technology leadership team and will be responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's data strategy, leading a team across data engineering, analytics and automation, and ensuring data is leveraged as a strategic asset across the business.

The organisation is embarking on a major analytics modernisation programme, including a move to Microsoft Fabric, the development of self-service analytics capabilities, and the exploration of AI and predictive analytics. This presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced data leader to influence both technology direction and wider organisational strategy.

The Head of Data & Analytics will:

  • Lead and develop the Data & Analytics function, providing strategic direction and leadership across data, analytics and automation
  • Own and deliver the organisation's data strategy, ensuring data drives operational, clinical and business value
  • Lead the ongoing analytics modernisation programme, including the implementation of Microsoft Fabric
  • Establish and embed data governance frameworks, standards and best practices across the organisation
  • Drive the adoption of self-service analytics, data literacy and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to influence strategic decision-making through data and insight
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ideally have experience within healthcare, clinical, NHS or other highly regulated environments
