Electronics Prototype & Test Engineer
Petersfield, Hampshire
Permanent – circa £30,000 per annum (negotiable)

4-Day Working Week (Mon–Thurs, 37.5 hours)

Mage Global is partnering with a well-established SME that designs and manufactures advanced medical devices. This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative engineering team where you’ll be involved in electronics testing, prototype development, and test equipment design.

The position is available due to the upcoming retirement of a senior team member, meaning you’ll benefit from a structured handover and training period before stepping into full responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product and PCB testing

  • Fault diagnosis and repair of electronic assemblies

  • Supporting prototype builds and R&D activities

  • Assembly and sub-assembly work (including soldering)

    Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of both digital and analogue electronics

  • Confident in interpreting circuit diagrams and schematics

  • Skilled in soldering (through-hole and SMT)

  • A recent graduate in Electronics or a related discipline with the drive to learn quickly and take on responsibility
