Visual Inspection Specialist - Aseptic Production

Role requirements:
Establishing visual inspection programmes and principles, contribute to the Tech Transfer process, commission and qualification, of equipment, preparation of test kits, training and coaching of junior staff and communicating with the external stakeholders for the tech transfer process.

Role duties:

Validate and establish visual inspection process as SME, including test kit preparation.
Coordinate the collective efforts of other teams in the business, external contractors and vendors to complete visual inspection and project tasks.
Support feasibility studies, provide technical support, implementation and scale up.
Provide training, support and guidance to all members of the Aseptic Production team.
End-to-end validation activities such as change control, URS to PPQ; responsible for all visual inspection and process validation duties.
Commission and Qualification of visual inspection as per regulatory needs, reduce expense and increase productivity.
Author and review GMP documents from Aseptic Production department (for example summary reports, qualification and validation protocols, data for conformance to regulations and SOPs.
Proactively support the QMS elements of aseptic production such as deviations, investigations, CAPA, change management and risk assessments.
Your background:

BSc in Pharmacy or Engineering (or related/equivalent)
You will have worked in test kit preparation and automated vial inspection for a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry (such as medical devices)
Proven background from a similar role, within a pharmaceutical organisation
Leadership experience including coaching and training of other staff
Meticulous and solutions-focused, high attention to detail and familiar with tech transfer, commission and qualification, visual inspection protocols and QMS reporting/data
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Good influencing and negotiation skills and comfortable working independently
