Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with a minimum of 6 years in software and hardware testing, including hands-on experience in C# development. This role requires strong technical leadership, a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in medical devices and ISTQB certification are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases using C#.
Lead feature verification, formal acceptance testing, and validation of software-hardware integrated systems.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and quality metrics.
Troubleshoot and validate prototypes, subsystems, and production systems.
Take ownership of specific system areas, contributing to design, planning, and implementation.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to cross-site technical leadership and planning.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
Proficiency in C# and experience with test automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development and hardware systems (electronics/mechanical).
Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC best practices.
Proven ability to write and review test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience in medical device development or other regulated industries.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
