Senior Mechanical / Systems Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Mechanical / Systems Engineer to join a growing medical device company. You’ll work across multiple concurrent product lines, ensuring that devices not only function as intended individually—but operate seamlessly together as an integrated system.

The Role

Lead the mechanical design and development of medical devices across the full new product development (NPD) lifecycle.

Ensure devices interact effectively—mechanically, electronically, and functionally—within a wider system.

Collaborate with external electronics and software partners, ensuring mechanical designs accommodate technical interfaces.

Maintain technical files and documentation in line with ISO 13485 and MDR requirements.

Provide mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing designs and supporting development.

About You

Experienced mechanical engineer (7+ years), ideally with a background in medical devices

Strong understanding of systems integration—how different devices and components work together.

Skilled in CAD, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, and hands-on prototype testing.

Confident liaising with external suppliers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners.

Comfortable managing multiple interdependent projects in parallel.
