Job Title: Service Engineer
Location: West of Ireland (Ennis, Limerick, Galway) - easy access to major road links

About the Role:
Are you a skilled problem solver with a passion for technical challenges? We're looking for a talented Service Engineer to provide expert installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced medical imaging equipment - including CT scanners, Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, and more. You'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.

What You'll Be Doing:

Installing, servicing, and repairing a broad range of medical devices.
Using your initiative and advanced fault-finding skills to achieve first-time fixes.
Building strong customer relationships through clear communication and professional support, both remotely and on-site.
Responding quickly to emergency breakdowns and providing out-of-hours support when required.
Reporting service updates, equipment performance, and potential sales opportunities.
Traveling across Ireland (and occasionally abroad), with some overnight stays as needed.
Continuously enhancing your skills through technical training.

Who We're Looking For:

Ideally, experience working in hospital environments on X-Ray, Imaging, or other medical engineering devices.
Electronic/electrical experience preferred-mechanical or bed/hoist engineers need not apply.
Maintenance engineers from hospital Estates/Facilities with electrical skills are encouraged to apply.
Field service engineer experience involving electro-electrical and software components is a strong fit (mechanical knowledge can be taught).
A flexible team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Self-motivated and committed to delivering top-tier technical support.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to €50,000, with potential to stretch to €55,000 for exceptional candidates.
Monday to Friday, 39 hours plus 1 hour daily travel (44 hours total including travel).
Overtime paid beyond working hours, including travel time.
On-call allowance of €300 per week, approx. 1 in 8 weeks (reducing to 1 in 10 after training).
Choice of company car, van, or €8,000 allowance.
Field-based role with occasional overnight stays required.
Pension scheme after 3 months: employee contributes 3% min / employer contributes 3% max.
Life assurance at 4x base salary.
