Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate

Salary: £25,600

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Contract Length: Initial Temporary 6-month contract

Start Date: Immediate

Are you looking for outside of the lab opportunities within the Biotechnology and Life Science Industries? A fantastic opportunity to join a leading diagnostics company in Newcastle is now available.

As a QA Associate, you will be responsible for supporting Quality and Regulatory teams on site with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, collating, and maintaining documents, working within the QMS, and ensuring activities are compliant with regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creation and formatting of high-quality documents.

Administrative tasks such as scanning documents, filing electronically, collation and maintenance of documents, and coordination and tracking of documents.

Work within the company quality management system (QMS) to ensure activities are completed in line with regulatory requirements.

Use appropriate business processes to ensure that objectives and timescales are met.

Provide administrative support to Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams.

Liaise with personnel across site to identify and support process improvements.

About you:

You will hold a relevant Scientific degree OR an administrative background in a regulated environment.

Excellent data analysis skills, as well as great attention to detail.

Knowledge and competency in using Microsoft and other software.

Demonstratable knowledge of medical devices or scientific industries. As well as ISO 13485.

Effective attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team or independently.
