Production Team Leader | Worksop

Essential Recruitment are currently working in partnership with Vernacare to recruit 3x Production Team Leaders for a brand new department based in Carlton in Lindrick.

The role will see you lead and oversee the production of medical devices within a sterile manufacturing environment, ensuring all operations meet the stringent quality, safety, and service standards required by Vernacare and its healthcare partners, including the NHS.

This included supervising personnel, managing equipment operation and monitoring and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.

Perfect for an individual with a manufacturing background and has experience in team leading/supervision.

Hours/Salary:

  • £33,719 per annum

  • 10pm – 6am | Monday to Friday

    Duties include:

  • Ensure production line runs to the correct quality and quantity standards

  • You will be responsible for maintaining a tidy organised line

  • Maintain all paperwork up to date and report any faults.

  • Ability to work in a small team of 8 individuals

  • Providing teams with information about recent developments, programmes and policies

  • Creating a productive work environment for the team

  • Assembling Medical Products and Heat Seal Products.

  • Happy working in a cleanroom environment.

  • Picking up the duties of the team leader when they are off site.

    Experience needed:

  • Experience with injection moulding / heatseal packing

  • You will be able manage and oversee the line and run a team

  • You must have the ability to complete paperwork and collate all records

  • The role involves covering the team in all functions

  • You will be flexible to ensure smooth running of the lines/machines
