Product Information Advisor - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced Product Information Advisor to check and approve specifications and artworks for major UK retailers on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You must have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of legal labelling requirements and retailer policy requirements.

THE PRODUCT INFORMATION ADVISOR

In this role, you will be reviewing product information against regulations and customer policies, advising customers and their suppliers on how to get it right. You will use your knowledge and experience to inquisitively question and challenge to ensure due diligence and compliance. You will be accountable for providing quality, accurate, and timely risk-based advice, enabling our customers to launch products competitively and safely.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Formulation review
Regulatory adaptations
Specification/pack copy review
Artwork review
Alignment Check (PLV/PAC/CTS/RSR)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in Specifications & Artwork approval or a Regulatory Affairs role within the Food Industry. Other key attributes include:

In-depth technical knowledge in area of responsibility, including codes of practice, policies, and guidance
Practical experience of using specification or artwork systems and packages
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a technical role or a related field
High level of accuracy and ability to work at the expected work rate
Confidence in applying requirements to product information and explaining decisions to clients
