£60,000 - £70,000

Monday - Friday

Our client is a leading cleanroom and medical product manufacturer, that values hard work, teamwork and developing people. They are part of a group with multiple sites in the UK. They are looking for an Operations Manager who has experience within Medical Devices and ISO13485 standards, who can join the team and implement continuous improvement strategies, and manage the day to day running of the site.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop, mentor, and review performance of the cross-functional teams on site
Lead manufacturing, logistics, and QA functions to meet company goals and KPIs
Manage production planning, material ordering, and supplier performance
Maintain compliance with ISO13485
Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S
Oversee stock accuracy, physical stock takes, and cost control
Ensure quality system effectiveness and lead internal/external audits (ISO standards and supplier audits)
Act as site lead for Health & Safety and compliance with company policies
Develop and maintain budgeting and contribute to 3-5-year business strategy

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Must have exposure/experience to ISO 13485
Understanding of regulatory requirements on medical devices
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S
Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills
Results-driven with a focus on quality, compliance, and team development
Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational efficiency
