Known for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic student support, the school is now seeking an experienced, compassionate, and proactive Lead School Nurse to head up its on-site medical and wellbeing provision.

The Role:

As the Lead School Nurse, you will provide hands-on clinical care, strategic oversight, and professional mentorship across all aspects of student healthcare. This includes:

Leading the medical team in managing minor ailments, injuries, and chronic conditions
Coordinating with internal and external healthcare providers for continuity of care
Developing and delivering health education, mental health support, and safeguarding procedures
Supporting emergency response readiness and training across staff and students
Managing medical record-keeping, medication protocols, and clinical reporting
About You:

The Successful candidate will need:

NMC registration as an RGN, RSCN
At least 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably with children or in an educational setting
Leadership or supervisory experience
Strong IT skills and confidence with digital health records
Excellent communication skills
A proactive, organised approach
