SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company near Stevenage and Hitchin that specialises in skin care products. We are looking for an Analyst to join the QC team, providing support with HPLC, GC, and general wet chemistry techniques. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door within a pharmaceutical company, covering maternity leave.

To be successful in this role, you would need a chemistry/life science degree, and recent experience with HPLC or GC outside of university (e.g work placement). Experience or knowledge working to GMP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Carry out QC or raw materials and finished products using HPLC, GC and wet lab techniques.
Conduct equipment maintenance, calibration and solvent disposal, alongside other general lab keeping duties.
Perform manual and automated tests and assays in accordance with GMP procedures.Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree within science (preferably a chemistry based degree).
Recent experience with HPLC and GC to GMP standards (or a good understanding of GMP)
Great attention to detail is essential!
