Job Description

Abiomed is an innovative medical device company part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech. We offer a collaborative culture focused on employee development. We are looking for a Clinical Consultant UK (m/f/d) to provide training and clinical guidance to current and future users, ensuring effective support and monitoring for clinicians in North England.


Responsibilities

  • Provide training and clinical guidance to users, ensuring effective support and monitoring for clinicians.
  • Execute the commercial strategy of the company.
  • Improve patient outcomes through professional education and consultation with medical staff.
  • Supervise all centers where patients are treated with Impella® products.
  • Report clinically relevant data, document results, and work closely with team members and sales colleagues.

Your Expertise (Qualifications)

  • Clinical and/or technical training successfully completed, ideally as a healthcare assistant, nurse, or clinical perfusionist.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in direct patient care in the ICU, cardiac surgery operating room or cardiology cath lab.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful commercial activities in the MedTech industry.
  • Compelling attitude and ability to develop and promote long-term customer relationships.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work in a team.
  • High flexibility and 80% willingness to travel within the region, including for emergency case support across the UK; some night/weekend travel.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Be located in the geographic area.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 kg.
  • Standing for long hours during procedures and conferences.
