Biomedical Engineering Team Leader

Responsibilities

  • Induct, develop and support a team of Biomedical Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed contract KPIs
  • Supervise the workload of the team, allocating team members to optimize productivity
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
  • Complete repairs on medical equipment as per manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Complete associated admin required to close repairs and PMs as outlined in the Ergéa Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
  • Comply with Ergéa Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, maintaining a high standard of customer service and protecting the health and safety of colleagues, customers and the public, promptly raising any concerns regarding potential violations of policies
  • Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
  • Directly support the Operational Centre Leader as needed
  • Attend customer meetings when required
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
  • Seek opportunities to grow Ergéa business
