When treating any disease or illness, accurate diagnosis is paramount. There is huge value in offering reliable detection via high quality diagnostics, to support medical professionals.

Within this exciting position you will work within Wales and the South West territory of the UK, promoting a range of world-class point-of-care medical diagnostic devices to public sector hospitals cell pathology labs.

The role requires a significant amount of travel and will call upon your excellent organisation skills, and knowledge of NHS procurement processes, to drive forward business in the territory.

Some of your main activities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies

  • Prospecting, generating and follow-up of leads across multiple laboratories at customer sites

  • Technical and consultative style of selling to customers

  • Identifying new business opportunities

  • Attending meetings and exhibitions

  • Around 50-75% travel

    Previous experience within medical sales is a distinct advantage, however applications from candidates with experience within the clinical laboratory space are also welcomed.
