1st Line Technical Support – Cloud-Connected Electronic Systems | Office-Based – Luton
Support | Electronics | Cloud-Based Medical & Optical Technology
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Monthly Bonus
Location: Luton (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Are you from an IT &/OR electronics background with experience supporting cloud-based or connected systems, especially in sectors like medical devices, imaging equipment, or optical technologies? This could be the ideal next step for you.

They’re looking for a 1st Line Technical Support Specialist at their Luton HQ, ideally someone with hands-on experience in electronic systems that integrate with cloud platforms.

The Role: You'll provide first-line technical support to Commissioning Engineers, and installers using a variety of connected devices and systems. This is a customer-facing, office-based role that requires strong technical understanding and a passion for troubleshooting.

Ideal Background: This position would particularly suit an electronics technician or engineer with experience supporting cloud-connected systems, such as those found in medical imaging, diagnostic equipment, optical devices, or similar technology sectors. 

Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a 1st Line Support, Helpdesk, or technical customer service role
Exposure to cloud-based systems and networked devices
Background in electronics, (&/or) IT, or connected technologies (e.g. medical or optical systems)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Comfortable using email, helpdesk software, and remote support toolsKey Responsibilities:
Respond to technical queries via phone, email, and remote tools
Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues
Maintain accurate support ticket logs in line with SLAs
Escalate complex issues to 2nd Line Support when needed
Stay up to date with product and system developments.
