Technical Writer

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Technical Writing team. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining externally facing documentation for Oxford Nanopore’s RUO, regulated, and diagnostic sequencing devices. The documentation produced in this role supports both customers and external regulatory and electrical safety compliance activities, requiring a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail.

The Technical Writer will own the documentation portfolio for Oxford Nanopore's sequencing devices, ensuring that documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered in time for product releases. The successful candidate will have a technical or scientific background, experience producing documentation for complex hardware or scientific instrumentation within a quality-managed environment, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content for both customers and external compliance bodies.
