Statistical Data Scientist

Manchester - Hybrid/Remote

Initial 2-month contract(Potential to extend)

SRG are recruiting for a Data Scientist to join an innovative Life Science company based in Greater Manchester. The company specialises in developing medical devices used to improve the recovery, & quality of life for patients with chronic conditions, relieving the burden of care for patients, their families, and healthcare systems.

This will be an initial 2-month contract with the potential to extend, leading a key statistical project. This is a key post within the business and will begin asap.

The Role:

Working in conjunction with the global team, as the Statistical Data scientist you will be responsible for leading a study project. Working with large patient data sets, preparing them for analysis and use ahead of publication of key study data.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Organisation & cleansing of data sets.
  • Programming analysis tools using R
  • Data Analysis
  • Creating visualisations and dashboards
  • Produce evaluations & reports for internal stakeholders.

Required:

  • A degree in Data Science, mathematics or similar relevant field.
  • Proven experience of Data organisation & Analysis.
  • Proven experience working independently to progress statistical projects.
  • Ability to code in R
  • Available to begin with short notice.
