    Are you seeking Quality Engineer commutable from Abingdon, Witney, Didcot, Wantage, Oxford, Oxfordshire and surrounding areas?

    We are looking for a Quality Engineer or Quality Assurance professional who thrive working within a friendly, growing, SME medical device design, development, and manufacturing business. You will have prior experience of working in a medical device engineering or manufacturing business and enjoy working independently on a diverse range of quality engineering / quality assurance projects.

    This Quality Engineer job would suit someone who thrives in a hands-on, versatile role and enjoys working in a close-knit, supportive team where your ideas and input make a real impact.

    Quality Engineer responsibilities:

  • Conduct process validation for electro-mechanical and wiring assemblies.

  • Lead root cause investigations and manage CAPA activities.

  • Support internal and external audits against ISO 13485 and customer standards.

  • Create and maintain inspection reports, work instructions, and process documentation.

  • Perform risk assessments (pFMEA) and drive process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance across incoming goods, in-process and final release inspections.

  • Provide technical support and training across production and supplier base.
