Position Summary
The position ofOperations Manager is responsible for coordinating the activity of Warehouse and Logistics Operations outside of the USA.
Listed below are the key responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally inclusive and the job holder will be expected to complete tasks reasonably requested by the Senior Manager, Operations.
This is a flexible, on-site role in our Oxford, UK office.
Major Responsibilities
Under direction from the Operations Director, theOperations Manager will be responsible for:
· Manage the distribution and storage of OrganOx sub-components, spares, tooling and finished goods using approved distribution and warehousing partners, across both EU and UK entities.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the supply chain to improve Safety/Quality/Delivery/Customer Service/Cost.
· Prioritize and optimize daily logistics operations to meet business objectives while balancing workloads and resource requirements.
· Support the Operations Director in developing, implementing and monitoring KPIs to drive operational performance, cost efficiency and quality standards.
· Develop, implement, and maintain policies and processes to maintain inventory accuracy, adequate safety stock, and inventory records compliance.
· Provide regular structured communication to the Operations Director on operational performance in all sales regions outside of the USA.
· Manage and monitor the performance of internal and third party logistics partners using Business Continuity Planning, identify and mitigate risks and issues in the supply chain.
· Using formal mapping techniques, define the existing distribution network and identify updates to the network based on the business growth plan defined in the S&OP and IBP processes.
· Cultivating a high-performance culture. Promote cross-functional collaboration and create opportunities for professional development within a team of direct reports across UK and EU entities.
· Interface cross-functionally with the wider business to ensure the warehouse and logistics teams stay informed, compliant and prepared for evolving business needs.
· This role may require travel up to 10% travel.
