We are looking for aMicrobiology Engineerto join our team in Hull, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of products that improve patients’ lives around the world.

What will you be doing?

You will become an integral part of our QA Microbiology team, supporting the delivery of high quality laboratory testing and ensuring compliance with stringent quality standards. Your day to day work will see you performing microbiological testing across raw materials, environments and finished products, while contributing to the monitoring and trending of key data that supports manufacturing operations.You will work closely with colleagues across QA and production, helping to investigate non conformance, support validation activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Through your work, you will help ensure that our processes remain effective, compliant and focused on delivering safe, high quality outcomes for patients.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role comes from combining strong technical knowledge with attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. You will be confident working in a structured laboratory environment and motivated to maintain high quality standards in everything you do.Key requirements include:
  • A degree in a biological science or at least three years of laboratory experience
  • Knowledge of GMP principles and microbiological control processes including environmental and bioburden monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately interpret and report data
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and collaboration within cross functional teams
