Mechanical Engineer | Bristol (Hybrid)

We're working with a global engineering leader in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment sector to find a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of complex, high-tech systems used across advanced global manufacturing processes.

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on mechanical engineer who wants exposure to full product lifecycle delivery in a highly regulated, precision engineering environment.

You'll be responsible for:

* Delivering mechanical engineering design across systems and subsystems

* Supporting technical delivery of mechanical work packages across multiple projects

* Applying and promoting best practice engineering principles (DfX, manufacturability, assembly, maintainability, etc.)

* Supporting cross-functional teams to drive projects through milestones into production

* Contributing to engineering governance, safety, compliance, and quality standards

* Working within a structured environment focused on cost, quality, and delivery performance

What we're looking for:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

* Strong foundation in mechanical design / product development

* Understanding of DfX principles (DFM, DFA, etc.)

* Exposure to regulated engineering environments (semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, etc.) is beneficial

* Awareness of engineering standards, safety, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP, SEMI S2/S10 desirable)

* A proactive mindset with willingness to develop and grow technically
