Due to continued growth and success, we are looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and service-driven individual who is looking to develop their IT career within a fast-growing business. In this role, you will support the IT team in delivering proactive and responsive IT services to over 300 users across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for handling IT support tickets, assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting, supporting new starters, and ensuring colleagues receive a high level of IT service.

The Role – Junior IT Engineer

  • Provide 1st line IT support for hardware and software issues including laptops, phones, and printers
  • Monitor and respond to tickets in the IT helpdesk system, escalating when required
  • Set up and configure new starter equipment, including laptops, mobiles and required applications
  • Maintain and update IT asset registers
  • Provide remote support to colleagues across the UK and Ireland
  • Assist with administration of the 3CX phone system
  • Communicate clearly with users and keep them updated on ticket progress
  • Identify recurring issues and help create guides and documentation for the company intranet
  • Produce basic weekly reporting
  • Participate in IT team meetings and support IT projects when required

What You Will Need in the Role of Junior IT Engineer

  • At least 6 months experience in an IT support role
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Service-driven and responsive to users
  • Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Passionate about technology and continuous improvement
