A leading provider of advanced imaging and diagnostic technology in the vet space is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Southern Ireland.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established international business operating within the medical and veterinary imaging sector, supplying innovative ultrasound, X-ray and diagnostic solutions alongside market-leading customer support.

Working from home and covering Southern Ireland, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of imaging and diagnostic equipment at customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:

* Diagnosing and repairing ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy and associated imaging equipment

* Carrying out preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown visits

* Managing service calls through to successful resolution

* Maintaining accurate service documentation and stock records

* Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted technical adviser

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and service performance targets

* Identifying opportunities to further develop service activity within the territory

* Occasional overnight travel as required

About You

We're keen to speak with engineers who enjoy working directly with customers and solving technical challenges in the field.

You'll ideally possess:

* A relevant engineering or technical qualification

* Previous experience in a field-based service, maintenance or technical support role

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Good understanding of IT systems and networking

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach

* Experience working with medical devices, imaging equipment, laboratory instrumentation or other electronic equipment would be advantageous
