Cure Talent are delighted to be partnering with an innovative medical device manufacturer and distributor. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Sales Specialist to join their team, supporting Theatres, Critical Care, and A&E across the South East (Hampshire, West Sussex, Sussex, Kent & Southeast London).

As a Field Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across your region, introducing innovative vascular products, delivering training, and building lasting relationships with clinical teams and decision makers. You will play a key role in expanding product usage and uncovering new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering sales targets and growing market share across your territory

  • Building strong relationships in Theatres, Critical Care, and Emergency Medicine

  • Leading training sessions, product trials, and customer presentations

  • Identifying and winning new business, while managing and expanding key accounts

  • Representing the business at clinical meetings, congresses, and events

    What we’re looking for:

  • A proven track record of success in field based sales, ideally in a fast paced environment such as FMCG, medical devices, or other competitive industries

  • Consistent achievement of sales targets with clear evidence of results

  • Strong tenure in previous roles, demonstrating commitment and progression rather than frequent moves

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional to step into a territory role within a rapidly expanding company. With market leading products, comprehensive training, and clear career progression, this role offers the chance to make a real clinical impact. Where to Advertise Medical Technology Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising medical technology jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The medtech candidate pool spans biomedical engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, clinical scientists, software engineers working within IEC 62304 and MDR frameworks, imaging scientists and commercial professionals with deep healthcare sector knowledge. General job boards consistently conflate medical technology with broader healthcare, pharmaceutical and IT roles — producing high application volumes but low candidate quality for specialist medtech positions. This guide, published by MedicalTechnologyJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise medical technology roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.

How Many Medical Technology Tools Do You Need to Know to Get a Medical Technology Job?

If you’re pursuing a career in medical technology, it can feel like the toolkit is endlessly long: imaging systems, data analysis software, regulatory platforms, testing frameworks, prototyping tools, CAD, quality management systems, signal processing libraries and more. Scroll job boards or LinkedIn, and it’s easy to think you need to know every tool under the sun just to secure an interview. Here’s the honest truth most hiring managers won’t explicitly tell you: 👉 They don’t hire you because you know every tool — they hire you because you understand the underlying principles and can apply the right tool in the right context to solve real problems. Tools matter — absolutely — but they are secondary to problem-solving ability, clinical awareness, engineering rigour and the ability to deliver safe, reliable solutions. So how many medical technology tools do you actually need to know to get a job? For most job seekers, the answer is far fewer than you think. This article explains what employers really want, which tools are core, which are role-specific, and how to focus your learning so you look confident, competent and end-game ready.

What Hiring Managers Look for First in Medical Technology Job Applications (UK Guide)

Medical technology (MedTech) is one of the most dynamic and high-impact sectors in the UK — spanning medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, AI-assisted systems, wearables, imaging, robotics and clinical software. At the same time, hiring managers are exceptionally selective because MedTech roles demand technical excellence, regulated safety awareness, clinical context and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Whether you’re applying for roles in R&D, engineering, quality & regulatory, clinical validation, product management or software development for medical systems, hiring managers don’t read every word of your CV. They scan it quickly — often deciding within the first 10–20 seconds whether to continue reading. This guide breaks down exactly what hiring managers look for first in medical technology applications — and how you can make your CV, portfolio and cover letter stand out in the UK market.
