Experimental Physicist - Developing new materials

Newton Colmore is excited to be working with a growing technology company based in Cambridge and assisting them with their search for an experimental physicist.

As a physicist in this company, you will be charged with accelerating the development of the next generation materials aimed at reducing C02 emissions. This will include working within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to maximise the performance of new materials, specifically working on the development and testing of high thermal conductivity materials.

Some other key parts to the role will include;

The development and testing of new concepts and the invention of new materials.
Developing new theories and hypotheses for the improvement of existing materials.
Working on new experimental testing methods and widening the company's extensive IP portfolio.

This is a great opportunity to join a company that loves to innovate and push technological boundaries.

To be considered for this role we are looking for people with strong knowledge of physics and materials, mixed in with a passion for innovation and a curious mindset. Any experience with modelling material properties and their performance in devices and systems would be desirable.
