Are you a Diabetes Nurse seeking your next career challenge? Our client is looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Diabetes Practice Nurse to join their clinical team in Buckinghamshire, working within a primary care network to improve diabetes patient outcomes. This full-time role offers a salary of up to £44,000 per annum + £5,400 car allowance, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

As a Diabetes Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in optimising diabetes management in primary care. Working alongside GPs and healthcare professionals, you will:

Identify and manage patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 Diabetes
Optimise oral hypoglycaemic therapies
Provide point-of-care testing and refer patients for specialist insulin treatment when necessary
Deliver high-quality education, support, and advice to patients and healthcare staff, in line with NG28 national guidelinesEssential Requirements for a Diabetes Nurse:

Diabetes diploma or equivalent EN qualification
Minimum of 3 years' experience managing diabetes in primary care
Confident in delivering education and support to patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Skilled in optimising oral hypoglycaemics
Full driving licence
Current NMC registration
