Role: Compliance Lead

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Duration: 12 month fixed term contract

Salary: £33,000 - £37,000

Accreditation & Certification Management (Lead Role)

Oversee and actively manage all company accreditations and certifications, ensuring continuous compliance with relevant standards and industry regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: CHAS, Considerate Constructors, ConstructionLine, FGAS/REFCOM, Gas Safe Register, HETAS, ICO, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, MCS, NICEIC, OFTEC, PAS2035, QualityMark, RECC, SafeContractor, TrustMark, UKTC, and Waste Carriers Licence.

Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure that all compliance programs remain current, robust, and effective.

Quality Management (Lead Role)

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Group's Quality Management System (QMS), including adherence to ISO 9001

Plan, conduct, and coordinate all internal quality audits to assess compliance with quality requirements and company policies. This includes developing a holistic internal audit approach with minor monthly reviews, on-site quarterly audits, and full internal audits every six months, feeding directly into annual external audits.

Ensure the framework for collecting and acting on customer satisfaction (CSAT) data is compliant, driving improvements based on feedback from both external and internal customers

Environmental Compliance (Lead Role)

Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Group's Environmental Management System (EMS), including adherence to ISO 14001.

Oversee and manage environmental compliance obligations, including permits and reporting requirements for emissions/discharges.

Direct responsibility for monitoring and reporting on waste management practices and energy consumption tracking across the Group.

Ensure successful environmental audits are implemented with initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience working in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role, with demonstrable experience in managing quality management systems (ISO 9001) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).

Experience in planning, conducting, and coordinating internal and external audits.

Experience working effectively within a multi-site environment.

Beneficial, but not essential, experience within the Gas, HVAC, or Renewables sectors.
