Wound Closure Sales Specialist | J&J MedTech | Surgery | Northumbria, Newcastle, Sunderland , Gateshead and Durham

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting a Wound Closure Sales Specialist to drive growth of its Wound Closure (Sutures and Adhesives) portfolio within key surgical centres across the newly formed Northeast Wound Closure IC.


Purpose of the role

This role is critical for expanding our portfolio in the Northeast area. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the business through account planning, sales execution and collaboration with the wider J&J surgical family.


Responsibilities

  • Build an in‑depth understanding of market dynamics within key accounts, adapting strategy to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Lead the territory through development of comprehensive business plans and focus on highest‑value opportunities to grow new business, take competitor share and adopt new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring alignment of all efforts to drive growth.
  • Collaborate internally across J&J MedTech Surgery and the wider J&J Surgical family to maximise opportunities.
  • Manage stakeholders to secure resources and support for strategy execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven sales success in Wound Closure or wider surgical environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of NHS and Private sector markets across multi‑disciplinary surgical areas.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with business leaders to drive technology adoption.
