Solve challenging problems and lead engineering teams

This personable team work closely with industry leaders in MedTech and consumer products. They seek a talented and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to join their development team. You will be playing an important role managing projects, designing and developing prototypes, and demonstrating solutions to current and potential clients.

You will have relevant commercial experience and ideally a PhD, be comfortable planning and running projects with an eye on commercial requirements. Able to design, build and test your ideas, you will be as happy at a laboratory work bench as you would using computational modelling in the design of new products.

Requirements for this role:

  • Demonstrable commercial project and team leadership skills, ideally in a consultancy context

  • Proven skills building prototypes and testing hardware

  • An excellent academic history, including at least a 2:1 in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject, backed by impressive grades at A level and ideally a PhD

  • Permanent eligibility to work in the UK, without time limit or constraint
