Job Description

Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Orthopaedics are looking for x3 Sales Specialists in Trauma covering the South Coast & South West region of the UK. The role is part of a planned separation that will result in employment with DePuy Synthes.


Purpose of the Role

  • Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
  • Within the allocated geographical region, interact and promote products to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care.
  • Manage territory through the development of comprehensive business plans, focusing on highest value opportunities to grow new business and capture competitor share.
  • Manage and develop accounts and own the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth.

What To Expect

  • Build strong networks of relationships that enable the identification of mutually beneficial opportunities to sell key technologies in the surgical procedural environment.
  • Present brand value propositions and value‑added customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours.
  • Analyse and interpret account strategies and plans using key systems and data to understand the business environment and account needs.
  • Partner with Professional Education to develop and maintain KOL relationships and champion the effective use of the Company’s comprehensive Professional Education offering.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Influencing and business partnering skills – able to analyse requirements and develop strategies that drive adoption of technologies and act as a trusted business advisor.
  • Consultative approach with customers, asking probing questions to help them achieve objectives.
  • Effective utilisation of the Company’s selling tools (Integrity Selling).
  • Deep clinical expertise in procedures and product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the medical device industry and orthopedic experience (preferred).
  • Proficient in English language (required).
  • Relevant background in medical device industry, hospital or medical background such as sales, nurse, physiotherapist (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the orthopaedic, trauma and medical device environment (preferred).
  • Travel: 100%
