Sales Specialist – Energy – Johnson & Johnson MedTech | General Surgery

At Johnson & Johnson MedTech we are developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized surgical treatments. The Energy Sales Specialist will support the Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk regions, focusing on mid and south east Essex.


Purpose of the role

Sales Specialists are responsible for growing and defending sales in existing accounts across their designated territory within the Ethicon product portfolios. They support the Regional Sales Manager and lead key accounts, creating new business opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle.
  • Promote products to key customers and collaborators in secondary care and lead the specialty customer.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans, focusing on high‑value opportunities, competitor share and adoption of new technologies while maintaining core business.
  • Lead and develop accounts and manage relationships, ensuring all efforts drive growth.
  • Account planning, selling, teamwork and professional education and marketing activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record in Surgical Sales or a sales environment.
  • Results‑oriented attitude and winning spirit.
  • Desirable: Experience in health sciences and energy.
  • Desirable: Theatre experience working on cases with a range of healthcare customers in public/private sectors.
