Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager – multisite role - Glamorgan - c£75,000

Overview: This is a brand-new role within the company. It is standardising the legal, compliance and food safety standards across the sites.

About You:

  • As Compliance Manager, you’ll have strong commercial awareness, enabling you to explain its impact on the business and the financial implications involved.

  • An influencer of introducing new ways of working around regulatory affairs and compliance.

  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

  • Experienced working in regulatory affairs and compliance within UK food manufacturing.

  • Flexibility to travel across sites as and when required

    What will you be doing?

  • There are multiple customers, so as Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be standardising systems, ensuring every site is working to the same systems.

  • You will represent the company within FSA meetings

  • Making things easy to understand with a multicultural food manufacturing workforce including photographic standards

  • You are the primary contact for regulatory bodies and will ensure that product and processes meet legislation, retailer expectations and internal standards.

  • Manage and resolve any compliance related incidents including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
