Our client partner offers an exceptional solution for patients with heart valve diseases — backed by strong clinical data, European evidence and a commercial infrastructure.


With growing patient need and differentiated indication, they are uniquely placed to lead in the next frontier of structural heart therapy.


You will be working with Sales Management to develop and support the market by acting as a product awareness point person.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Represent to both implanting and referring MD’s and supporting medical professionals in disease state, product and therapy advocacy, awareness and education, training and other related and supporting activities.
  • Delivers product and therapy education and training with physicians on-site in hospitals to encourage best practice use of in the treatment of heart valve disease.
  • Provides workshops and presentations to disseminate awareness and patient identification and flow best practices supported by data provided by Sales Ops and marketing.
  • Provides physicians and medical staff with continuous education and technical support related to all aspects of therapy and disease state awareness while anticipating and foreseeing obstacles and planning accordingly for smooth execution.
  • Advocates with clinicians to uncover other opportunities to expand the use of the product.
  • Works collaboratively with sales management and aligns with on targeting, tactical approach and engagement plans as to align with implanting center plans. Also works collaboratively with marketing, sales ops and the Clinical Team to ensure alignment and synergy in activities.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of heart valve disease and treatment and develops tactical and engagement tools proactively.
  • Gathers feedback and clinical information from the field and provides input to R&D product development group.
  • Develops and maintains professional, high-quality, physician relationships.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer record books and other records in accordance with sales division.
  • Meets or exceeds sales quota in assigned regional geography.
  • Proactively visits hospitals and solicits orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned .
  • Implements the therapy development strategy in its assigned region.


SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Minimum of 3 years of previous (related) medical device development and/or structural heart experience in an acute care environment required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience in market and or therapy development for Structural Heart or Interventional Cardiology required.
  • Must be willing to Travel circa 60% of the time.
  • Experience working a cross-functional team in a commercial setting preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with marketing or science related degree preferred.
  • Experience in conference oral presentations and authorship of scientific peer-reviewed publications preferred.
  • Technically competent, confident, and able to engage peer-to-peer with referring and implanting physicians.
  • Training skills and experience.
  • Customer focused. Able to develop and maintain trustworthy relationships.
  • Creative and solutions oriented.
  • Capable of working in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
