Production Technician

We currently have some positions available within a global medical manufacturing company, working to help produce and manufacture specific medical devices. These roles would be on a temporary to permanent basis on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Includes weekends and public holidays.

  • Dayshifts: 7am - 7pm. The pay rate for Dayshifts is £14.48.

  • Nightshifts: 7pm - 7am. The pay rate for Nightshifts is £15.68.

    Overtime is also offered at good rates.

    We are looking for people who:

  • Have previous manufacturing experience - this is not mandatory but will make a stronger application

  • Are great at communicating and have clear handwriting for report writing

  • Are team players with good organisational skills

  • Have basic math and recording abilities

  • Have a GCSE in maths and English (or equivalent)

  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK

    Main responsibilities within the role:

  • The set up and monitoring of machines- including noticing any issues and resolving these within a timely manner

  • Using the HMIs (Human-Machine Interface) to monitor key parameters

  • Communicating with colleagues in a clear manner to ensure an efficient, smoothly run operation

  • Completing written and electronic reports

  • Producing a clear hand over for the next shift staff to ensure a seamless changeover

  • Successfully transfer materials to and from the clean room

  • Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organisations established procedures
