ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Development Scientist II to join their dynamic team based in the Research and Development division. As a Development Scientist II, you will have the unique chance to transform patients' lives and make significant contributions to the industry through pioneering, ground-breaking products and work.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Development Scientist II will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Efficiently manage multiple scientific projects, focusing on Chemistry or Biochemistry/Immunology.
  2. Interpret experimental results and collate data for regulatory submissions, notifications, and peer-reviewed publications.
  3. Provide product support to internal departments, including Regulatory Affairs, QA, QC, and Sales, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  4. Communicate project requirements to the Method Development Manager and/or Global Head of Development, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

    To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Development Scientist II, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  5. Relevant degree (Phd/MSc) in Microbiology.

  6. Proven industry experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.

  7. A working knowledge and practical experience with method development and validation.
