Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 09:00 – 13:45
Friday 09:00 – 13:15 (18.5 hours / week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day running of the clinical trials pharmacy department.
  • Receive orders and dispense investigational medicinal products to trial participants.
  • Perform routine tasks to support technical activities within pharmacy clinical trials.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service and ensure the safe and effective supply of medicines.
  • Occasional participation in weekend or public holiday working may be required.

Qualifications & Training

  • SVQ in Pharmacy Services Group Award at SCQF level 6, as required by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Comprehensive on‑the‑job training programme to achieve full proficiency in the pharmacy support worker role.
  • Knowledge or experience in Clinical Trials advantageous, though not essential.
  • Full proficiency required within the role before the start of the post.
