Bespak is looking for an onsite Filling Operators for a 12-month fixed term contract on the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this onsite role is £37,077, this includes the shift allowances. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance / access to all internal job opportunities.

Working Pattern – Monday to Friday , starts as 8am to 4pm then progresses to:

August (2 shift) - Week 1 - 6am to 2pm / Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm – rotating £37,077

December onwards (3 shift) – Week 1 – 6am to 2pm / Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm / Week 3 – 10pm to 6am – rotating £40,467

As a Filling Operator, you'll be responsible for operating the automatic filling machine, ensuring process parameters are met for bulk filling. You will perform process testing, analyse data to improve operations, and maintain a compliant controlled environment. Your duties also include completing batch documentation and taking analytical samples. Additionally, you'll handle ancillary tasks like equipment cleaning and stock movement, always adhering to quality and Health & Safety regulations.

As a Filling Operator your duties will include:

  • Operate automatic filling machines in a controlled environment.

  • Conduct process testing and analyse output data.

  • Perform ancillary tasks maintaining a compliant controlled environment.

  • Complete batch documentation adhering to quality regulations.

  • Operate and perform associated process testing.

  • Take analytical samples and complete required batch documentation.

    Filling Operator, beneficial key skills and experience:

  • GCSE qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent Level.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within team structures.

  • Experience of achieving targets with a customer focus.

  • Positive attitude to accept feedback to develop knowledge.

  • Experience of working in a Pharma/Food manufacturing setting.

    Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.

    This could suit someone with experience of working in the Pharmaceutical or Food industry who has performed roles similar to the following: Production Operator, Packing Operator, Manufacturing/Production Technician, Filling Technician or Quality Technician.
