We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Purpose of role is to provide person centred functional analysis and interventions, through the enactment of social care legislation and local government requirements, informed by occupational therapy clinical knowledge, skills and values

3 month initial contract

Assess patients' physical and mental capabilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to promote independence.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay updated with advancements in occupational therapy practices and medical imaging techniques.Skills / Requirements

Undertake assessment of Hampshire residents to ensure they can access their homes and facilities within their home safely and independently. In some cases, the resident will have been waiting for OT assessment for 18 months plus - will need to be able to manage expectations of residents
Must have experience with Adults Services, PD clients, and moving & handling experience
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle that is insured for business use (will be able to claim business miles from office base to visits).
Minimum 2 years of practical experience as qualified (hold relevant degree qualification)This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about helping others regain their independence through effective therapeutic practices.
