Streamline medical device manufacture in this key technical role

This multinational organisation provides design and manufacturing services to a wide range of industries with a speciality in medical devices and diagnostic products. With both Design & Development teams and Manufacturing teams, they are looking for an NPI Engineer to be the interface between these teams ensuring successful transfers of designs to manufacturing.

As part of being the technical lead for transfer activities you will be involved in design reviews, process development and testing development as well as being active in project management and client relations. Working with established leaders in design and manufacture, you will also be in an excellent place to continue developing your own knowledge and skillset and will be supported by the company to do so.

Requirements:

  • Relevant commercial experience in medical device product development

  • Strong manufacturing knowledge from DFMA techniques to six sigma and lean manufacturing practices

  • Good knowledge of medical device regulations including both FDA and ISO standards

  • Good degree in Engineering or other relevant subject from a top university

  • Full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK
