Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division Donegal: Located in Donegal Town, our Diabetes Care division manufactures FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and sensors, including the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite, and FreeStyle Libre systems.

Purpose of the Role: As a Manufacturing Shift Lead, you'll support and develop a dynamic team, ensuring production targets and schedules are met. You'll implement processes that boost productivity and maintain our fast-paced, inclusive environment. Your interpersonal and communication skills will be crucial in this shift-based role, where assertiveness and decision-making in a fast-paced setting are key.

Key Responsibilities:



Meet manufacturing schedules and produce the required volume and product mix.

Support problem-solving for plant and equipment to achieve quality and production goals.

Achieve productivity, quality, and cost objectives.

Contribute to creating work instructions and operations procedures.

*

Complete performance excellence assessments and development plans.

*

Lead efforts to protect human health, safety, and the environment.

Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies.
